“Horsepower is God” is the band’s first new music since their debut EP released last year. The seven-minute track, produced by Al Groves (Bring Me The Horizon, Cast) was produced by Al Groves, and was originally meant to serve as a closer for their live show. But they found that the track delves deeply into masculinity and the idea of traditional gender expectations for a cathartic release from YAANG.

“I started watching shows with traditionally masculine characters and logging little lines,” explains vocalist Davey Moore. “Using them as a base to explore what ‘masculinity’ even means. It ended up being an emotional song that I hope can help people vent their frustrations as they sing it.”
