Who is Will Best? Meet Strictly Come Dancing 2026 contestant and TV presenter

Will Best is heading back out on the dancefloor this week, as he and Dianne Buswell hope to climb up the leaderboard.

The dancing duo earned 18 points for their first routine, followed by another 18 during movie week, before receiving their highest score so far of 25 this past weekend.

Three weeks in to the competition and Best finds himself splat bang in the middle of the leaderboard which isn't necessarily the best place to be but it's definitely not the worst either.

Best is among a long list of dazzling celebrities, including content creator John Nellis, Olympian Tabby Stoecker and former Love Island champion Cach Mercer - all of whom are stepping into the ballroom this weekend.

So, just who is Will Best? Read on to find out more about the Strictly Come Dancing 2026 contestant.

What has Will Best said about Strictly Come Dancing?

Will said that joining Strictly Come Dancing is "a dream come true"!

"My main feelings are a mixture of delirious excitement, and terror, and I think that's healthy," he said. "It still feels surreal and I can't quite picture myself on the show – it seems crazy that I'm going to be doing the thing that I've watched so many other people do for so long. And when I do imagine doing it, my knees go a bit wobbly."

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday 17 October at 6:15pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
