The extended international break may be over but its impact will be felt in the Premier League over the next few weeks.
A change to the FIFA schedule meant the September and October international windows were combined into one three-week break, with many national teams playing four games in less than a fortnight.
Unsurprisingly, injuries have piled up and top-flight teams head into this weekend's fixtures without many of their star players.
That's a problem facing Fantasy Premier League managers as well, as they click back into gear after three weeks without having to worry about their squad.
