Luton Town travel to Reading on Saturday afternoon to kick off their League One campaign.
The Hatters, who are managed by former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, were playing in the Premier League just two years ago but they now find themselves in the third tier.
Luton suffered back-to-back relegations from the Premier League and the Championship before finishing seventh in League One last season.
Luton ended up just one point outside the play-off spots last time out and Wilshere will be expected to finish in the top six as a bare minimum this season.
Reading last played in the Premier League in 2013 and are entering their fourth consecutive campaign in League One after their relegation from the Championship in 2023.
The Royals, who beat Bromley on penalties in their Carabao Cup first round tie last weekend, have finished 17th, 7th and 12th in their three League One seasons and they'll be eyeing a play-off spot this campaign.
