Three-time FA Cup winners Sheffield Wednesday travel to Oldham Athletic in the first round of the 2026/27 competition on Sunday.
The Owls, whose last triumph came in 1934/35, are rebuilding in League One under new boss Dave Challinor.
Challinor will take charge of Wednesday for the first time this weekend and will be determined to see his side make a winning start.
Oldham are battling at the wrong end of League Two but have found Boundary Park a happy hunting ground this term.
Latics have won five of their nine home games in 2026/27 – a run they'll need to extend to get their name in the hat for the second round.
