Mansfield Town and Doncaster Rovers face off on Saturday afternoon to get their League One seasons underway.
The Stags, who lost 3-0 at home against Sheffield United in the first round of the Carabao Cup last weekend, finished 10th in League One last season.
Mansfield were promoted from League Two in 2024 and Nigel Clough's side have improved every year since entering the third flight after finishing 17th in 2025.
Doncaster Rovers come into Saturday's showdown on the back of their Carabao Cup first round victory against Stockport County with Grant McCann's side winning on penalties.
Doncaster, who won League Two in 2025, finished 14th in League One last time out and like Mansfield, they'll be hoping to improve this season and get closer to the play-off spots.
