Sheffield Wednesday begin their 2026/27 League One season with a trip to Leyton Orient on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls, who beat Bolton last weekend to secure their spot in the Carabao Cup second round, are back in the third flight after suffering relegation from the Championship last time out.
Sheffield Wednesday were deducted a total of 18 points last season due to entering administration and after winning just two of their 46 Championship games, they finished the campaign on zero points.
Henrik Pedersen's side will be desperate to put last season behind them and they're the second favourites to win League One behind Leicester City. Automatic promotion will be the aim but landing a play-off spot will be the bare minimum required this campaign.
Leyton Orient narrowly avoided relegation from League One last season with The O's finishing one place above the bottom four.
Richie Wellens will demand an improved campaign from his side this time out, but it remains to be seen whether they can distance themselves from another relegation battle this season.
