The first Dundee derby of the season takes place on Saturday evening as Dundee United host Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.
Dundee United are still searching for their first win of the campaign. After drawing with Rangers 1-1 in their opening game, Jim Goodwin's side lost 4-0 at Hearts before their 4-0 defeat against Celtic in the Scottish League Cup second round.
Dundee United, who beat Dundee 3-0 when the sides last met at Tannadice Park in April, will be hoping to bounce back against their arch rivals as they look to improve on their seventh-place finish in the Scottish Premiership last season.
Dundee find themselves in fifth place in the Scottish Premiership after winning one and losing one of their two outings so far this campaign.
They suffered a 1-0 defeat at Celtic in their league opener before beating Aberdeen 2-0 at home, however, Steven Pressley's side then lost 3-0 against The Dons in the Scottish League Cup last time out.
Dundee finished eighth in the Scottish Premiership last season and Pressley's men will be hoping to return to winning ways in the derby on Saturday.
