Celtic begin their Scottish Premier Sports Cup challenge at Premiership rivals Dundee United in a second-round tie on Saturday evening.
The Bhoys, beaten 3-1 by St Mirren in last season's final, received a bye to this stage due to their participation in the Champions League.
Martin O'Neill is expected back in the Celtic dugout after missing last Sunday's 5-1 rout of Kilmarnock following a hospital stay.
Dundee United have not progressed beyond the second round of this competition since the 2023/24 season.
Tangerines boss Jim Goodwin will be hoping his team can bounce back from last Sunday's 4-0 league defeat at Hearts, otherwise it's likely to be a third early exit in a row.
