Champions League nights like this are special: two European heavyweights going toe-to-toe in one of the continent’s great arenas.
Both Bayern Munich and Arsenal have sights set on the final in Madrid – and Wednesday’s clash at the Allianz Arena is a chance to lay an early marker.
The Gunners have won away in Munich just once, and not since 2013. Mikel Arteta's side may have made a winning start to the League Phase but they've not been at their fluent best in recent weeks.
Bayern bounced back from last week's draw at Viking FK by smashing RB Leipzig 6-1 on the weekend and will see Wednesday's game as a chance to lay a marker.
Though Michael Olise is missing due to injury, star striker Harry Kane is no stranger to games against Arsenal and will be hungry to add to his 15 goals against the North Londoners.
