Arsenal and Manchester City meet to size each other up ahead of the 2026/27 campaign in Sunday's Community Shield.
The pair shared the spoils in English football last term, with the Gunners winning a first Premier League title in more than 20 years but losing to Man City in both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup finals.
They're expected to be among the top teams in the land again in the new campaign – and this weekend's contest should offer an early indication of what is to come.
Arsenal have looked to strengthen the squad that brought the title to North London under Mikel Arteta last term, while Man City have said goodbye to legendary head coach Pep Guardiola and replaced him with Enzo Maresca.
It's fitting then that the first competitive game since Guardiola's departure features two of the Spaniard's coaching disciples in Arteta and Maresca.
