The 7-inch includes a B side: Yukee's cover of the Wet Leg song “11:21”. The single will be available digitally and on sparkly ‘snail trail’ pink vinyl. It is limited to 500 copies and will not be repressed. The release comes via Pandapop! Records, the children’s imprint of UK independent label Alcopop! Records.

Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers appear in an episode as The Slime Sisters, a duo of pop star snails on route to a festival. The single follows Yukee’s debut album, Yukee's Garden Party: Hits From Season One, which is out now and features contributions from Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Sam Carter, PP Arnold, Chali 2na, and Tom Odell.

Yukee will play a free show at Rough Trade East in London at 10am on Sunday 27 September 2026. Additionally, Yukee is working with Fender on a giveaway of ukuleles. The instruments will be awarded to aspiring musicians under six through Yukee’s socials, with one handed out during the Rough Trade show.

Yukee is a preschool series distributed by Aardman, with 52 episodes available on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer. The character is voiced by Nina He, a child actor from Newtownbutler in Northern Ireland. The show’s guest cast has included Dame Evelyn Glennie, Femi and TJ of Ezra Collective, Maisie Peters, and Lauren Laverne.
