Watch Tom DeLonge get emotional as baseball stadium full of Padres fans sing Blink-182’s ‘All The Small Things’

Tom DeLonge has been spotted getting visibly emotional at a baseball game, after the crowd came together to sing Blink-182‘s ‘All The Small Things’.

The moment took place at San Diego’s Petco Park on Tuesday night (October 6), when the San Diego Padres went head to head against the Milwaukee Brewers in the third game of the National League Division Series.

DeLonge is a lifelong fan of the Padres, and recent years alone have seen him invited to throw out a ceremonial first pitch for their Wild Card Series opener back in 2024, and also gift catcher Kyle Higashioka one of his guitars later that year (via ).

Now, at the knockout game against the Brewers – where the Padres clinched a 4-3 victory – the pop-punk icon was spotted sitting in the audience, and got noticeably moved when the crowd sang his 1999 Blink-182 hit song ‘All The Small Things’.

During the rendition, captured the singer and guitarist nodding along and smiling as the audience sang, before later joining in and waving a yellow towel. Check it out below.

For the Padres, the win over the Brewers came as they had to play without All-Star Mason Miller – who is out on paternity leave – as well as pitcher Adrian Morejon, who is temporarily out of action due to a shoulder injury.

The appearance of DeLonge at the baseball game came shortly after Blink-182 played an intimate private show at Coachella Valley in California over the weekend. It was their second private gig of the year, following a surprise show in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz back in May, and comes as the band have been noticeably quiet this year, having wrapped up their huge ‘Missionary Impossible’ tour last October.

They recently released a 25th anniversary edition of ‘Take Off Your Pants And Jacket’ on streaming too, which features the 13 original tracks and six B-sides. Their last album ‘One More Time…’ was released in 2023.

As for what they have coming up, Blink-182 have recently been confirmed as one of the first names on the Rock For People 2027 line-up, joining Faith No More and Architects.

Other confirmed shows for next year include slots at Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park and Rock For People next June, as well as a trio of their own headline shows in Berlin, Paris and Milan the same month. Fans are also speculating that the pop-punk group will headline Download Festival for the first time.
