The iconic artist’s classic album ‘Back To Black’ was released 20 years ago today – October 27th – a record that helped to reframe the lexicon of pop music. The second highest selling UK album of the 21st century, ‘Back To Black’ spawned numerous hit singles, and it remains an inspired listen.
Much of the record was pieced together at Metropolis Studios in West London, where Amy would come in, and play her guitar while recording the initial demos.

Spotify have been able to go through Amy’s archives, presenting a rare acoustic version of her iconic song ‘You Know I’m Not Good’.
Out now, it illustrates her natural gifts both as a songwriter and as a vocalist, while also demonstrating the magic that first enraptured Mark Ronson, and then enraptured the world.
