Out now, the EP finds venbee moving towards the light, embracing a renewed sense of levity in her work.

The songs pick up on this, with the songwriter displaying a canny sense of humour, in addition to her refined audio painting abilities.

Set to play a residency at Bermondsey Social Club in October, venbee teased the EP with viral singles  and , alongside recent release ‘stars (john’s local)’.

“i’ve been incredibly lucky over the last four years, but the highs are always followed with big lows. i kinda wasn’t ready for all this when it kicked off, so when writing this project i was in a bit of a pickle. i decided to put my big girl pants on and just get on with it, got all my mates who i love and trust, and had a shit ton of fun. most of the songs are light hearted, which is a bit of a change for me.”
