Tusks announces fourth album, Do I See You There?

Do I See You There? follows Tusks' 2024 album , and is described as her most personal work to date, created in the wake of losing a close friend. "How Can I Be The Same" arrives as the first preview of the album, and addresses an instance of sexism that Underhill encountered in the making of it.

During the making of Do I See You There?, Underhill took part in a two-month residency at The Townshend Studio, home to Pete Townshend's collection of synthesisers and vintage gear.

"Pretty much all of this album is influenced by me dealing with my friend's death," Underhill explains. "Tim was my guitarist when I started Tusks and we gigged and toured together a lot then stayed good friends after, but he sadly died of pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago. This album is about me dealing with that grief in the expected and unexpected ways it manifested for me."
