Tulsa King season 4 is currently airing on Paramount+, but fans have been quick to question the casting of Sylvester Stallone’s daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, in this latest instalment.
However, Stallone is not having any of it, as seen in a conversation with USA Today where he laid out just why a touch of nepotism is necessary in supporting your child’s ambitions.
"First they go, 'Nepotism is terrible,' I said, 'Oh please, you’re not a good parent if you haven’t performed a little nepotism. Then obviously you don’t care about your kids, because they come first,'" he said.
"People will say, 'She got that job, it’s too easy.' You’re right. Perhaps it could be. But to maintain that, to be in front of millions of people, you either got it or you don’t."
This feeds into the viral online conversation about nepo babies and whether they deserve the opportunities they receive. But regardless of if fans think all nepo babies are talentless, Stallone’s view is that if they have talent the proof will be in the product.

Famous nepo babies range from Lily Rose Depp (the daughter of actor Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis) who has gained opportunities in the acting world with Nosferatu and The Idol, to award-winning musician Willow Smith (daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith) who released her first single when she was just nine.
However, Stallone, doesn’t see the "nepo baby" label as a bad thing, stating plainly to critics: "Of course it’s nepotism, you idiot."
Only two episodes of Tulsa King season 4 are out right now, but audiences have taken to X to voice their opinion, with one user stating "Who cares, id do the same for mine" whilst another said "She did great! Great fit for the role."
It seems that as more episodes are released, time will tell if Scarlet Rose Stallone has truly earned her spot as Spencer in Tulsa King season 4.
