returns with new EP ‘Mi Casa’.
The producer is a real talent, with her catalogue melting together dancefloor flair with some supremely gifted melodic ideas. Continually twisting and turning, TSHA returned recently with a run of singles, the UK talent building towards a broader project.
Out now, ‘Mi Casa’ is an excellent self-contained document. An ode to the transformative reveries of Ibiza, the material finds SHA acting as anchor, but she’s also unafraid to introduce fresh voices.
She comments…
‘Mi Casa’ draws on a lot of the dancefloor sounds of Ibiza, both past and present. It still carries some of the melodic elements people might recognise from ‘Sad Girl,’ but sonically it’s leaning more into the club space. It feels more direct, more confident, more focused on how the tracks actually land within a set.
Bringing Honey Luv into ‘I Need U’ just felt right. For me the best collaborations are the ones where both artists stay true to themselves but meet somewhere in the middle, and that’s exactly what happened there, and with Norma Jane and Pollena too. Every one of them brought their own identity into the room, and that’s really what I’m drawn to when it comes to collaborating now.
Drawn together into a succinct and unified whole, ‘Mi Casa’ is another vivid statement from a vivid talent.
Tune in now.
