The track is the third pre-release single from the guest-heavy record, following “Terrified” with Jonas Bjerre of Mew and “Swerve” featuring Sakura.

Wagner described the song as “a depiction of pure love slowly winding down and how it affects you in those moments where you realise you're being replaced.”

Trentemøller said the collaboration grew out of an earlier guest turn by Wagner. “This time I had an instrumental that felt right for his voice, so I sent it over. He loved it, and pretty quickly came back with that great vocal that's unmistakably Sune / The Raveonettes,” he said of his fellow Danish indie rock experimentalists.

The forthcoming album features vocals on every track for the first time in Trentemøller's career, with contributions from Sakura, Anika, Jonas Bjerre, Sune Rose Wagner, Midwife, Tan Cologne, and Emma Acs. He will tour the album next year, including a London show at Electric Ballroom on 11 March.
