A date for Toy Story 5's premiere on Disney+ has been confirmed – and fans of the hit Pixar franchise have less than a month to wait before it becomes available.
The film will be released on the streamer on , roughly three months after it arrived in cinemas in June.
Released seven years after the fourth entry in the series – and more than three decades on from the groundbreaking 1995 original – this latest instalment in the beloved franchise has been another monumental box office hit, making more than $1.1 billion globally.

At the time of writing, only summer blockbuster behemoths Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey have managed more than that total this year, while it's also now the third highest-grossing film in Pixar's history, behind just The Incredibles 2 and Inside Out 2.
The film reintroduced us to all the toys we know and love from the earlier films – and a fair few new ones, too – but it was Jessie (voiced again by Joan Cusack) who took centre stage this time.
The antagonist came in the form of Lilypad (Greta Lee) a brand-new tablet device that presented the greatest threat yet to the toys after Bonnie is gifted her by her parents.
In our review, we called it a "a slightly underwhelming effort" but remarked that "such is the love and attention to detail that evidently goes into making the Toy Story films" that it "is still a cut above most of the animated field."
Toy Story 5 will arrive on Disney+ on Wednesday 23 September.
