was written in a fleeting window between Wooff finishing her self-titled debut and its release. The album explores grief, obsessive compulsive disorder, infertility, and recovery. It was produced by James Wyatt.
To develop the record, Wooff and Wyatt took a guitar and some microphones to the small Welsh cottage that appears on the album cover. Snow, silence, and stone walls shaped the sessions, Wooff said. “The setting encapsulated everything we wanted the new album to be and certainly influenced those early stages of the production process. We left Wales with a really strong idea of how we wanted the album to sound and took that vibe straight into the studio.”
Lead single "The Morrigan" was inspired by the theory that voices heard in the woods, which for centuries were believed to come from ghosts or deities, are actually crows repeating human voices. The track arrives with a video directed by Manchester-based Light In The Tower. It draws on the unsettling atmosphere and analogue aesthetics of 1970s folk horror. Check it out below.
The album’s production uses tape saturation, drones, vintage keyboards, and orchestral additions alongside acoustic instrumentation. Wooff's writing is rooted in traditional British and Irish folk recordings but coloured by darker, more mysterious influences.
Wooff will play Manchester’s Halle St Michaels on 31 October 2026, followed by UK dates in Rochdale, Glasgow, Leeds, Eaglescliffe, London, Brighton, Norwich, Birmingham, Chester, and Hebden Bridge in March 2027.
