A murder in the heartland of America has strange cosmic connections in a fantastical mystery based on characters from the Green Lantern comics. Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) is a veteran member of the Green Lanterns, intergalactic peacekeepers blessed with extraordinary powers. He is teamed up with new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) to investigate a curious case in Nebraska, which could be extraterrestrial in nature. Hal and John must overcome their initial differences to dive into a dark, earth-based conspiracy that creates friction with Rushville's local sheriff, Kerry (Kelly Macdonald).
