has shared his new single ‘Wrapped In Gold’.

CLASH has watched Tom Grennan move from those intimate early shows all the way up to arena status, conquering the charts in the process. 2025 album ‘Everywhere I Went, Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be’ was his third consecutive UK No. 1 in a row, and it was followed by his biggest concerts to date.

But deep down, Tom knew he wanted to take a quick step back. New single ‘Wrapped In Gold’ taps back into his roots – his first single on new label home RCA, it was constructed on his trusty acoustic guitar.

Returning to his bedroom, ‘Wrapped In Gold’ is a moment of honesty. Aired on a recent pop-up tour – where Tom delivered five intimate acoustic sets across three days in London, Bedford, and Manchester – it’s an immediate fan favourite, and it’s not hard to see why.

He comments: “I had an impulse to go home – take myself back to being a teenager, the kid who learned to play guitar on his own in his bedroom. The one who made up songs as it was the only way he could tell people how he was really feeling.”

Out now, the finished production amplifies ‘Wrapped In Gold’ to a higher level, while also remaining tethered to his foundations. He adds: “I was recording ‘Wrapped In Gold’ and jumped on the mic and started singing in a much softer way than I’d tried before. I wanted it to be a bit like a lullaby.”

Tune in now.
