It's 25 years of Fright Night this October and Thorpe Park has really outdone itself with its celebrations.
The Surrey theme park is already home to some of the most terrifying rides in the country, with SAW, Hyperia and Swarm all within its walls, but every October the scares are off the scale.
Scare Mazes, spooky shows and free-roam Scare Zones all make up this year's Halloween event, including the all-new maze Tenement, and The Conjuring 4D Experience.

Merlin is offering to make the rest of your 2026 day trips free if you sign up for next year's Merlin Annual Pass today. Fright Night is an annual event held at Thorpe Park that transports visitors to all things spooky.
At this year’s event, park-goers can try out several Scare Zones; free-flow zones which promise special effects and live actors to create a truly immersive atmosphere, and Scare Mazes: four indoor mazes with live actors.
As it's Fright Night's 25th anniversary, the park is hitting us with two new attractions: Tenement, a new scare maze that sees you acting as emergency electricians in an abandoned (or is it?) apartment block, and The Conjuring 4D Experience, based on the terrifying horror franchise featuring Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Plus, there's Hyperia, SAW and all the other spooky rides to try after sundown.
When is Thorpe Park’s Fright Night 2026?
Fright Night at Thorpe Park is taking place throughout the month of October, from 2–4, 9–11, and 15 October – 1 November.
What time does Fright Night start at Thorpe Park?
Fright Night begins at 3pm each day. With the sun setting at around 6pm in October, this gives you a couple of hours to test your bravery in the daylight before seeing if you’re tough enough to survive the rides and Scare Zones in the darkness.
How to get the best price for Fright Night tickets 2026
Tickets for Fright Night 2026 are now available over at the Thorpe Park website.
Tickets cost £39 if you book in advance online, or £66 on the day, and this ticket will get you Thorpe Park entry from 10am to 9pm, access to over 25 rides and attractions, as well as to Scare Zones and shows.
The Fright Night entry and Scare Mazes tickets are £71 when you pre-book, plus you can book Fright Night short breaks from £109 (based on four people sharing). These slightly more expensive tickets guarantee you all of the above attractions, plus entry to all four Scare Mazes.
You can get a discount on Thorpe Park tickets through Tesco Clubcard as Tesco Reward Partners vouchers are worth double the amount of points you have, so £5 in points is £10 worth of vouchers. Or, you can save through the Merlin Annual Pass, which is currently offering the rest of 2026 free if you buy the 2027 pass today.
Yes. Fright Night tickets are typically more expensive than your average Thorpe Park entry (£32-£36), plus you need to pay extra for the Scare Mazes. You can either buy the full Scare Maze and Fright Night package, or each Scare Maze is £8.
