"The Kid With The Crown" arrives as the final preview of The Singer in My Head ahead of its release this Friday (11 September), and follows previous singles "Oh No Now My" and "Billy Came Back".

Speaking about the track, Nate Amos — the singer-songwriter behind This Is Lorelei — explains: "’The Kid With the Crown’ is the opposite of ‘Oh No Now My’ in that it was plucked and preserved at an early age. The album needed an untied shoelace and this is what I came up with."
