As we career into the last instalment of The Split Up with its final episode airing on BBC One tomorrow evening (Monday 5 October), there are a number of loose ends and dramatic plot lines waiting to be wrapped up.
Last week's fourth episode certainly laid the foundations for some explosive viewing and it turns out that the final episode even surprised its cast.
Chatting exclusively to Radio Times about what their own reactions were when they read the script for the finale, Sanjeev Bhaskar revealed: "I mean, when you're reading it, you just go, 'Bloody hell!'"
Similarly, Ritu Arya laughed: "You go, 'Oh my god!'"
Bhaskar continued: "I think that's what I kind of really enjoyed about the series, even up until that point, I think it's unpredictable. When you're reading a script, half your head is on what you think is going to come up and then it either does or it doesn't.

"So constantly with this I was wrong-footed and I really enjoyed that. An audience makes up their own mind as they rightly should, but to me, when we get to the big revelations that are being uncovered, it felt earned because all the little ones that came before it were intricate and interesting."
And revelations there are! With Aria's own feelings towards Luke (Dimitri Leonidas) putting a spanner in the works regarding to her impending nuptials to Neal (Danny Ashok), all eyes will certainly be on the star lawyer to see how she decides to go about things.
On top of the Aria love triangle drama, there's also the small matter of who will be taking over the family law firm, as well as Dhruv's own health concerns in the face of dealing with grief.
Also commenting on what's to come in the final episode, Arya said: "The script, it's unpredictable even through to the last episode. That's testament to Ursula [Rani Sarma], to Abi Morgan, and the cast that are bringing these characters off the page and into life.
"I just think the team together have created something that you do feel gripped and you care about each character's dilemma, their choices and their decisions and you're still shocked."

The six-part legal drama blends plenty of twists with testing family dynamics as we follow the Kishans.
The synopsis reads: "Brilliant divorce lawyer Aria Kishan stands on the brink of inheriting her family firm, but the recent death of her mother has left her father, Dhruv, questioning whether she is ready to lead.
"As Aria uses her razor-sharp, empathetic legal mind to represent Manchester’s most elite clients, her private world fractures. A surprise engagement, the arrival of a former flame, and a series of revelations that expose long-buried family truths threaten to dismantle everything Aria and her family have worked to build."
