A full-length trailer has been released for the upcoming film The Social Reckoning – giving us our best look yet at Succession star Jeremy Strong in the role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
The film is a follow-up to the hugely acclaimed 2010 drama The Social Network, with Aaron Sorkin once again penning the script and Strong taking over from Jesse Eisenberg in the central role.
This new trailer follows a shorter teaser which was released back in June, and begins with a meeting between an unseen man and The Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz (Jeremy Allen White).

"Do you have an interest in social media?" the man asks him, to which he replies: "Not even a little bit."
We then see Zuckerberg preparing to give testimony, while we also get a closer look at Oscar-winner Mikey Madison as young Facebook engineer-turned-whistleblower Frances Haugen, as she meets Horwitz and asks him to keep everything she says off the record.
Much of the trailer sees that pair working together as they dig deeper into the investigation, but we also see plenty of glimpses of Strong's Zuckerberg as the revelations appear to take their toll on him.

The official synopsis for the film reads: "Inspired by true events and the whistleblower who started the social media reckoning we’re seeing play out today, this Aaron Sorkin original screenplay is a companion piece to the hit film The Social Network and a true David and Goliath story.
"Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer, enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz, a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ends up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets."
The impressive cast for the film also includes Oscar-nominated Sinners star Wunmi Mosaku, GLOW's Betty Gilpin, The Franchise's Billy Magnussen and comedian Bill Burr.
Meanwhile, in addition to writing the script, Sorkin is also serving as director for this film, with no return for Social Network director David Fincher who will instead be heading up The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth for Netflix.
The Social Reckoning is released in UK cinemas on Friday 9 October 2026.
