Elizabeth Banks is set to star in a dual role in a new sci-fi thriller film coming to the UK next month – and Radio Times can exclusively unveil a first-look clip from the movie.
The film – titled DreamQuil – is directed by Alex Prager from a script she co-write with her sister Vanessa Prager and had its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in March.
It stars Banks as Carol, a woman who signs up for an experimental wellness retreat only to return home to find that an artificially intelligent version of herself has been living with her family while she's been absent.
In the clip, we see a somewhat sheepish Carol arriving back at her home when the door is opened by her robotic replacement, who introduces herself as Carol 2.
She's understandably taken aback by this doppelgänger, before she shares reunion with her young son and husband Gary (John C Reilly), the latter of whom fills her in on what's been going on while she was away.
"I got to say, I was not sure about this whole thing," he says. "But this time apart has given me some great perspective."
You can watch the clip in full below:
In addition to the trailer, we can also share the poster and some first-look images from the film – which you can find at the top of the page and below.
The film arrived in US cinemas in October, while in the UK it's getting a digital release from Friday 4 December – so one month from today.

The official synopsis for DreamQuil reads: "In the not-so-distant future, poor air quality has forced most people to live virtually, leaving Carol feeling trapped in her marriage and family life.
"Hoping to get her life back on track, she signs up for DreamQuil, an experimental wellness retreat.

"But when she returns home, she discovers her family has been living with Carol 2, a robot sent to take her place, and a sinister new reality begins to emerge..."
Meanwhile, Banks and Reilly are joined in the cast by a number of other familiar faces, with key roles for Juliette Lewis, Kathryn Newton and Sofia Boutella.

DreamQuil will be released on digital platforms from Friday 4 December.
