will release new album ‘UK Gothic’ in January.

The band are led by songwriter Benjamin Woods, and are rooted in South London. Working with Joy Of Life International, new album ‘UK Gothic’ is both highly personal, and with a broad cultural sweep.

“UK Gothic reflects on my past, viewed through a gothic lens”, explains band leader and chief songwriter Benjamin Woods, “As in gothic fiction, the characters are vulnerable and the events are unexplained”.

Out on January 29th, the album is led by brooding new single ‘Real thing’, merging its rattling indie rock sound with gleamings of spiritual lessons hewn from Leonard Cohen’s 80s output.

Co-written with Ash frontman Tim Wheeler, Ben says of the song –

“It’s a different direction for the band. The song is exploding with energy and rubble and bloodlust and passion. The story is of a romance in amongst a group of radicals taking matters into their own hands.”

Tune in now.
