Australian rockers have shared their new EP in full.

The band breezed in to the U.K. earlier this year, playing a string of shows at Brighton’s Great Escape. A wild, gnarly experience, The Gnomes blew away the competition with their psych-infused garage-punk.

New EP ‘With A Gnome’ is out now, and it lifts this feral squad to a whole new level.

Produced by Dec Mehrtens, guitarist for Grammy-nominated Australian punk heavyweights Amyl and The Sniffers, it’s an avalanche of riffs and superb lyrics, held together by the kind pop suss Marc Bolan once claimed as his own.

“One night during the recording of this EP, Ned and I slept at our managers’ studio. We woke up on the floor to Dec kicking us out because the Sniffers were rehearsing that day. After walking downstairs in nothing but boxers and socks, we awkwardly met Amy Taylor. ThenNed and I sat half asleep in the kitchen while the Sniffers rehearsed upstairs and wrote the lyrics and harmonies for Batteries,” Jay explains.

A mighty return, you can catch the band at London’s Shacklewell Arms on November 11th.
