With just one more day until hit Guy Ritchie Netflix series The Gentlemen returns for its second season, Geoff star Vinnie Jones and Sabrina star Joely Richardson have teased that another action star could potentially be joining them in a future run of the show.
While appearing on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Moneybox on Virgin Radio UK, Jones revealed that Richardson's brother-in-law, Liam Neeson, is "a big fan of the show" and that he texted him to say so.
Richardson added that Neeson "loves Vinnie," before Evans asked whether the actor could "get in on the act at some point".
Richardson responded: "He might, he might."
Neeson is known for his roles in plenty of action films, including the Taken franchise, while he recently starred in The Naked Gun and Cold Storage, and will soon be seen in The Fix.
The Gentlemen is already stacked with stars. The first season introduced us to characters played by Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Ray Winstone, Giancarlo Esposito and many more, while season 2 has added Maya Jama and Hugh Bonneville to the cast.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, could be returning to acting with a role in the series, although that has subsequently been thrown into doubt.

Whether the Duchess of Sussex appears or not, we do know that The Gentlemen will be returning for a season 3.
When that news was confirmed, Ritchie said in a statement: "The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I'm looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further."
