Oklahoma psych-pop legends will release new album ‘The Teardrop Throbs’ on January 22nd.

The band have an extensive catalogue spread across four decades, including 22 studio recordings, 11 compilations, 11 EPs, and 11 self-released experimental collaborative oddities released in various forms.

New album ‘The Teardrop Throbs’ follows a rare slow period in activity, and it finds The Flaming Lips at their brightest, most effervescent best.

Out on January 22nd via Third Man Records, the album is and will be available digitally, on CD, and on vinyl in black and Teardrop Blue.

A full international tour is planned, with The Flaming Lips set to play two London shows at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on April 2nd and 3rd.
