and were among the big winners at the 2026 Emmy Awards.

The ceremony took place at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater last night (September 14), with star Mariska Hargitay hosting. Many of this year’s trophies had already been handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys earlier this month, leaving only the most high-profile categories for Monday night’s awards.

Going into the night, HBO’s  and lead nominations with 25 and 24 each, with the latter breaking an Emmy record for most nods ever received by a comedy in a single year.

Noah Wyle snagged Lead Actor in a Drama Series for the second year in a row for The Pitt, having faced off against ’s Sterling K Brown, ’ Gary Oldman, ’s Mark Ruffalo, and ’s Rufus Sewell.

His other, in the Limited Series Category, was for Netflix’s The Beast in Me, meaning he is now also the first performer to have won in the Lead Acting category across all three genres, having previously earned an award for .

Joining him in making history was  star Jean Smart, who picked up the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, making her the first woman to be victorious in the lead category for every season of her show’s run.

Elsewhere in the evening, DTF St. Louis won for Best Limited Series, and Supporting Actor wins went to actors from , and .
