Australian band have confirmed plans for new album ‘Half Cut’.

The band’s almighty fusion of anarchic pub rock and righteous punk fury makes for hellraising listening, with 2022 album ‘Get Fucked’ – how’s that for a glorious title? – sparking a prolonged period of international touring.

Overnight, The Chats revealed that the follow-up LP is now finished – and it’s on the way.

New album ‘Half Cut’ is out on March 5th, following sessions at Los Angeles’ with Frenzal Rhomb’s .

“Half Cut is a fun rock and roll record, but it’s maybe a little more open than stuff we’ve written in the past,” says vocalist . “I definitely hesitate to use the word ‘mature,’ but it’s a bit of a progression, I’d say.”

Available to pre-order now, The Chats have also confirmed an extensive UK tour for next October, finishing with three nights at Electric Ballroom in Camden.

New single ‘Off It’ is out now – tapping into the animalistic flair of early AC/DC, it’s also a taut, focussed rocker. An all killer, no filler dose of guitar mania, the single finds The Chats doing what they do best – raising hell, with no concern for the consequences.

Tune in now.
