will release a new self-titled album on February 12th.
The group – Keisha, Mutya, and Siobhan – seem to have aged like a fine wine, with a new generation of pop artists citing Sugababes as a formative influence. Last year’s show at The O2 Arena in London was a celebratory moment, with the trio now ready to share something new.
Yep, a new album is on the way. Sugababes will release a new self-titled LP on February 12th, following sessions with Grammy-winner Jon Shave (Charli xcx, Jessie Ware, Zara Larsson) and BRIT Award-winner Wayne Hector (Nicki Minaj, Tate McRae). The is the first full album Keisha, Mutya, and Siobhan have worked on together since their debut.
In a new moment of full circle synchronicity, the artwork was shot by Liz Collins – who also shot the group’s 2000 debut ‘One Touch’.
Sugababes comment…
“We knew from the beginning that we didn’t want to rush this record. We’ve poured so much into the songs, the sound and every detail around it, and the more it came together, the clearer it became that there was only one thing we could call it: Sugababes. It feels unmistakably us. We’ve loved writing and recording this record, and we’re so excited that it’s finally time for people to hear it.”
New single ‘Ghost’ is out now – the perfect kiss-off to an unfulfilling relationship, it’s a wicked ultra-chic pop song from masters of the game.
