and will play special shows at London venue the 100 Club to honour 50 years of punk.

The Oxford Street venue cut its teeth in blues and jazz, before becoming known as one of the crucibles of UK punk with a series of seminal shows by the Sex Pistols, The Damned, Buzzcocks, and more.

50 years on from UK punk’s first summer, The 100 Club will host some 21st century groups – but prices are pegged at 1976.

Yep, it’ll cost an astonishing £1.50 to catch Sprints on Sprints on September 20th, and Maruja on September 21st, plus support.

Speaking about the shows,  (Owner of The 100 Club) says: 

“In my personal opinion, Punk is THE most important genre and subculture that the UK, or anyone else has ever produced or invented. And its longevity is testament to that. The list of good it’s done is endless. When you consider the background of despair, racism, poverty and sexism it grew from, its carried the flag for and supported people that need it continuously. 

And that is why we have chosen the line up we have, on 20th and 21st September 2026 to celebrate 50 years of this incredible subculture and genre. Call it what you like, its distinct values, style, incredible music, fashion and ethos set it apart from mainstream culture.  And these bands perfectly reflect what Punk means in 2026.”

The bands are both thrilled to play the historic venue, with Sprints opening the festivities on September 20th.
