Spanish Horses first formed in Paris before moving to London after signing a record deal, eventually releasing their debut single "Hey Man (Hey Man!)" earlier this month. Second single "Some People" arrives as the latest preview of , alongside a visualiser.

"We were working, hustling and partying all over town without skipping a beat," the band say of their time in Paris. "We had nothing to lose, everything was fun and time was no concept for a while. The move to London was motivated by the feeling of being stuck in a glass box."

was recorded just ahead of summer 2026, and is described as a collection of songs built on the "carefree optimism of sunny days and late evenings". Discussing the EP, singer Tom Onezime says: " was written to manifest change in our lives, as a means to jump forward and break out. The songs were written shortly before the studio sessions, creating an urgency to the sound and a fragility that we really value. is a product of ambition, sincerity and simplicity that we hope will reach the entire world."

Following their debut appearance at End of the Road Festival, the band's free entry launch show at Soho's Helen of Troy, as well as support runs with Bleech 9:3 and Little Grandad, the band now look ahead to appearances at The Great Escape's First Fifty showcase, Swn Festival, Glasgow's Tenement Trail and Rotterdam's Left of the Dial.
