Soraya Cinema’s New Single ‘Movie’ Is A Cross-Genre Splice

is the new pop voice you’ve been waiting for – but he prefer to remain unseen.

A pivotal production figure, Soraya was drawn into Feng’s orbit through the online gaming realm, the Paris-raised figure’s portal into the world. Helping to steer Feng’s breakout debut album ‘Weekend Rockstar’, he’s been quietly amassing a solo catalogue, deftly piecing together his individual identity.

Making his move, new single ‘Movie’ is out now. It’s aptly-titled – the song places his world-building tendencies to the fore, blending raw 2k26 electronics with the perfume of French touch.

You can hear aspects of contemporary hip-hop in there, but the frailty of his voice recalls the work of London songwriter Sampha. Expect the unexpected, in other words.

Out now, ‘Movie’ lands alongside with a nocturnal video filmed in Tunisia – second home and second half of his heritage.

A song that is as beautiful as it is affecting, ‘Movie’ depicts a very real sense of isolation: “In every club / I feel so fuckin’ lonely / Know I’m a man / But I need love / And you was really lovely…”

Tune in now.
