‘Sonic’, ‘Tetris’ and more classic games are coming to ‘Fortnite’

’s event is set to begin next week (August 20) with a number of iconic gaming franchises joining the hit online shooter.

Earlier this month, Epic Games confirmed that will be called and launches August 20.

This week, a nine-second teaser confirmed Sonic The Hedgehog and the iconic Green Hill Zone would be coming to as part of the new season. The clip also featured a glimpse of a block in the background. On Wednesday (August 12), that crossover was confirmed with another short video.

Since then, Epic Games has confirmed the world of will be colliding with as part of the event, and teased collabs with and . and have also been rumoured. Fans can expect more teasers over the coming days before the event goes live August 20.
