The six-track EP will be their second release and follows debut album , which arrived at the end of last year. Four of the six new songs were not recorded until after was released, and they describe Muse and the Marquee as an extension of that record rather than the start of a new era. The accompanying EP release show will be on 19 November at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn. Paper Lady and Truman Flyer are confirmed as support. Earlier this year, SKORTS supported Brigitte Calls Me Baby on a sold-out US tour before heading to Europe for a run of shows and their first ever UK tour.

They later connected with bassist Emma Welch outside a bar, with drummer Max Berdik completing the lineup.
