Sun or Man or God follows 2023's and 2025's as the third release from the trio, formed by Fionn Brennan, Jack Condon and Robbie Stickland. "The Death Of All My Crane Flies" arrives as the first preview of the collection of songs, alongside a new music video.

Discussing the album, which was mixed and mastered by Mikey Young at his Melbourne studio, the band share: "Musically it feels closest to what I feel Search Results should sound like. It took quite a few releases for us to figure out what exactly it is that works in the context of this band, and sometimes what works is just pop songs. But who’s to say, maybe in the future we will go back to our old ways and make many more public mistakes. Time will tell and time is crazier than a crazy feeling."
