has shared his new song ‘living room’ in full.
Out now, the folk-hewn hymnal is the second preview of his upcoming debut album, with saint luke set to release ‘leave new york to me’ in early 2027.
A song penned during a trip to the countryside of upstate New York, ‘living room’ is about attempting to move on, seeking to map out a life beyond a relationship.
Lyrically, it’s less about a break-up so much as the empty space left by grieving a relationship; a stark but beautiful song, it carries within it an arresting vocal.
Speaking on the track, Luke shares: “I wrote living room on a trip to upstate ny. My ex had just started seeing someone else but wanted to see me when she heard I was in town. living room at its core is about loving someone more than they love you and struggling to come to terms with that reality. It’s seeing them in everything, being haunted by their memory.”
Tune in now.
