The world of was first introduced with lead single "Twiggy", which dropped last month. It follows her previous albums and and comes out of a period of reflection during which Wolf started questioning what she wanted to say and how she wanted to approach making music. During a retreat to Big Bear with longtime collaborator Jared Solomon and a small circle of trusted friends, she spent days writing songs and spending time with loved ones, which ultimately formed the album's core.

"I feel like I've crossed into a new phase of life because of this album," Wolf says of the album, which was mostly formed between New York's Electric Lady Studios and Joshua Tree. "I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear. It has been a very cleansing record to make for me."
