returns with new single ‘I Had A Feeling’.
A hugely respected actor and songwriter, Raleigh is a true all-rounder. Taking time out to recalibrate, he’s now back, and ready to launch a new era.
Out now, Grades-produced single ‘I Had A Feeling’ finds the artist – real name – tapping into his Bowie fandom, using the effervescence of ‘Young American’ as a guide book.
A refreshing return, ‘I Had A Feeling’ stays true to Raleigh’s charms, while also guiding him out into fresh pastures.
He explains…
‘I Had A Feeling’ marks the beginning of a new era. This new music is nostalgic and contemporary at the same time. I’m taking my cues from Young Americans, from the love, the catharsis and joy that I get from that record.
I wanted to make something that reaches through time and says we’re all susceptible to pain and joy wherever we are in the great temporal mist. This new music is a conversation across generations, about the mistakes we were subjected to, and the mistakes we make ourselves. And I’ve been making a lot of them.
Above anything though I hope it’s warm, and comforting. I’ve always used music as a way to be vulnerable about difficult periods in the hope that it can reach out to somebody else in their own difficulty and say it’s okay. The sound might be different, but very little has changed. Welcome to the beginning of RR3.
Tune in now.
