PS Plus is back for another month, and boy, do we have some great games landing in September 2026!
Like Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus adds a host of new games to the service every month for subscribers to check out.

And then, let's take a look at all of the new PS Plus games for September 2026!
PS Plus free games for September 2026 confirmed
PS Plus Essential members will get three free titles on 1 September as part of this month's games:
Kicking things off, Sniper Elite: Resistance is the latest in Rebellion's long-running Sniper Elite series. Set in Vichy France in 1944, players take to a series of vast open levels to put bullets in the heads, hearts and various other body parts of the occupying Nazi forces – what's not to love?
Next up is one for all you baseball fans out there, with the latest in EA's flagship baseball franchise MLB The Show 26. Now, we're a British outlet, so we don't actually know much about baseball, but if you do like baseball, then we're sure this one is bound to be a home run hahahaha!
Taking a wholesome turn, our third game is Wobbly Life, where you and up to three other players take to an open-world sandbox to solve puzzles and complete challenges. Playable online and with couch co-op, it's a perfect little game to chill out with friends to.
And last, but not least, Chained Echoes is a 2022 JRPG inspired by the likes of Dragon Quest, Xenogears, Legend of Dragoon and many more. Set on the continent of Valandis, players embark on a quest following multiple characters as they attempt to stop a war between the three kingdoms of Taryn, Gravos and Escanya.
What's leaving PS Plus this month?
There are seven titles leaving PS Plus on 15 September 2026:
- Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut
- Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition
- Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13
- Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue

What to play on PS Plus – our recommendations
If you're looking for some other great games to play in the PS Plus Game Catalogue, we'd recommend these ones for sure:
As well as all the games included in the other tiers, PS Plus Premium lets you download and play older titles from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP to harken back to a simpler time and relive your younger years.
PS3 games are only available via cloud streaming and this is region-dependent, but the UK is included in this list so we don't miss out.

As a PS Plus Premium subscriber, you also have access to time-limited trials, which lets you try before you buy and download a full game and play it for a set amount of time. The length of the trial varies depending on the game.
