returns with new single ‘Madras’.

The new single is the title track of her incoming album, which lands on November 26th. The record was written across Zurich, Goa, Mumbai, Chennai and Kerala, before being recorded in Chennai itself.

Returning with recent single ‘Finally’, Priya emphasises place and heritage within her work, fusing Tamil colour with a refreshing alt-soul palette.

Title song ‘Madras’ is out now – very much a microcosm of the record as a whole, the sonorous vocal wraps itself round a lyric of real maturity.

Across her travels Priya has truly come to know herself, and ‘Madras’ makes this clear – finely textured and gently weighted, it shows the confidence in her work.

Tune in now.
