The Premier League has reached the first international break of the 2026/27 campaign and there is a familiar name at the top of the goalscoring charts.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland hasn't quite reached top gear yet but has still scored five times in five games to help his side go top of the table.
Haaland has won the gong in three of his four seasons at the Etihad and is hunting a record-equalling fourth this term.
Trailing him are Alexander Isak, who looks to put last term's struggles at Liverpool behind him, Chelsea striker Joao Pedro, and Brighton midfielder Pascal Groß.
Can any of those sustain their Golden Boot challenge and really put the big Norwegian under pressure? Only time will tell.

Chelsea forward Joao Pedro, who is rested and raring to go after missing Brazil's World Cup squad, is expected to challenge as the spearhead of Xabi Alonso's attack.
Having missed much of last season due to injury, Kai Havertz looks to be Arsenal's first choice number nine and could be set for his best goalscoring season in North London.
Man Utd's Benjamin Šeško and Liverpool's Alexander Isak will be expected to up their tally this term, while the likes of Brentford striker Igor Thiago, Leeds United target man Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Bournemouth rising star Junior Kroupi will hope to rediscover last season's form.
