The eight-track collection explores love, loss, identity and emotional dependence, with the duo turning personal experiences into lush, emotionally charged pop. New track "Woof" arrives as a dreamy, American-style preview of the EP, following earlier single "Jackie". The track was co-produced alongside Chloe Kraemer and co-written with Kraemer and Amber Bain of The Japanese House.
"'Woof' is about being trapped (or leashed) by a desperation for tenderness," the duo explain. "It's about trying to guess what everyone's feeling and becoming the thing that makes it all better. As a child, it can all feel like it's all your fault. As an adult, it can all feel like it's all your responsibility. Seeking affection, belonging, and acceptance is agony. Sometimes it's simply not up to you. Sometimes we hurt ourselves to realise it."
follows Esme Emerson's previous EP , as well as sold-out headline shows across the UK, and tours with The Japanese House, Sydney Rose and Gigi Perez.
