Manchester band have laid out plans for new album ‘If I’m Alive Now, Then I Was Dead’.
The incoming album is the band’s first in six years, and it follow 2020 release ‘Hot Slick’.
Out on February 12th via their own Haus Of Pins imprint, ‘If I’m Alive Now, Then I Was Dead’ is trailed by a biting new single.
Blending Ronettes’ girl group aspects with the primal thrust of The Stooges, new single ‘All Over’ finds PINS tapping back in to their bed rock.
A primal guitar hymn, it was recorded at Stockport’s Resonance Studios and engineered and mixed by Joel Patchett (King Krule, Let’s Eat Grandma)
Out now, ‘All Over’ will be pressed on limited 300-edition clear teardrop vinyl, which is accompanied by a new Double A-Side track ‘No Tears’. The vinyl release lands on November 3rd.
Introducing the single, PINS comment:
“’All Over’ started as a demo about desire. It was one of the most fully formed songs that we had when we started working on our new album. The structure and everything was already there, it was just about getting the sounds down. The energy is driving and it feels a little angular.”
Tune in now.
