Pierre cast: Who stars in the 6-part drama?

Pierre, the brand new six-part crime drama led by David Harewood, premieres on Channel 4 tonight.

The legal thriller follows Pierre Jeffreys, an overworked West London duty solicitor whose job, finances and fragile personal life are all under strain.

When his young Black client Michael dies in suspicious circumstances, Pierre refuses to accept the police account and starts digging, uncovering a web of institutional corruption that puts his career and family at risk.

Despite being a recognisable actor, Pierre is Harewood's first television leading role, something he has described as a long-awaited milestone. Speaking to Harewood said the script finally allowed him to play "a full human being", describing Pierre as "a husband, he's funny and he's a best mate", and reflecting that "for the first 15 years of my career a role like this wasn't even possible".
